Fan art of Quake 2, digitally painted in SAI, worked on it on some days over the course of 2 weeks as I was busy with summer class and other things... Its kinda my own version of the Strogg tank and marine that I ended up doing. There's still some other details I could add, but for now...I played Quake 2 quite a bit, mostly on the N64 version back in the days, so I just had to draw something related

U r very wellcome. Games like these sould never be forgotten. Its sad that today's games are never being made the simular way as Quake 1 and 2. Now its only these sprinting, auto health regenerating, scripted events and cutscenes that covers 80% of teh game, and that anoying autoaim! lol.
In Quake 1 and 2, skills was the most important thing to survive

I love it. the slowly moving tank has an eerie nature to it, and the whole thing reminds me alot of the Wolfenstein 3D cover which is a good thing. the perspective on the floor looks odd, we should see the floor go off into the distence unless the Tank just came up a flight of stairs.
