This is for the Uncommon Professions collection at Usuktwiceperyear on Tumblr. My fanart is inspired by Sumsmasterpiece 's Hetalia fanfictions, Okay and Shattered. I enjoyed the fanfics, but they have been deleted. In the fanfics, America was a mechanical engineering major while England majored in writing. This picture could be a standalone or a sequel that takes place several years after the stories’ ending. America is working at a biomechanical engineering company and England became a book editor after a few years as an author.

These were the steps I used to draw:
1. Draw in pencil while referring to pictures of America, England, desks, offices, computers, their occupations, and other things.
2. Go over the pencil lines with a thin felt-tip marker.
3. Erase the pencil lines.
4. Color with coloring pencils.
4. Scan the drawing into my computer.
5. Polish on Photoshop.

Sorry my unsteady hands, bad judgment, and limited supplies contributed to my terrible drawing.
