Description
The three characters I played in Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion.Center: Alistare Fontane. Nord. Warrior class. Heavy armor/bladed weapons/alchemy. My first character. Built to be a complete ass kicker. You can't wear clothes and armor at the same time in Oblivion, but I see him wearing heavy armor (preference for Orcish and Dwarven) under a beautiful red silk robe, as pictured. The sword is something that came with a small island home that I downloaded...an enchanted green glass claymore. It was so goddamned powerful, I kept it locked away until I REALLY needed it. It's an absolute monster. Alistare ended up being incredibly powerful but also very fast. His athletics skills are way up there with his strength. Also, potions and poisons (for poisoning his sword) from alchemy kept him alive thru the game.
Right: Harra-Zin Ch'Khat. Pajiit (black panther version of the Khajiit). Thief/Assassin. Stealth/Archery/Bladed weapons/alchemy. Whereas Alistare is a pretty good guy, Harra-Zin is a complete bastard. The assassin's guild quests were murderously fun. I really need to work on his blade skills because archery is only good at range, duh. The bow he uses (not shown) as far as I can tell has something to do with C'thulu. The legend attached to it said the last person to posess it eventually ran into the ocean screaming "C'thulu fthagan!". Found it glowing faintly in the sand on the west coast of Cyrodil.
Left: Shimera Twilight. High Elf. Mage. Destruction/Conjuration/Alchemy/Blades/Mysticism/Alteration/Restoration. My new girl. Magic classes are difficult to play early on in Oblivion. You're VASTLY underpowered until you get some better destruction/conjuration spells under your belt. Lots of different tactics available to mages. You can sap nearly anything away from your foes, or make them more vulnerable to your magics. Personally, I weaken them to shock magic, hit them with some lightning, then close in and finish them off with touch magic and swordplay...that is if my summoned zombie hasn't already finished them off. She's going to be very powerful.
