A few people thought the last version could have had a bit more detail, and also that it should be more "mean".... so ive cranked up illustrator again and made a few changes... particularly the colour (using gradients etc) and also, i added some nice big teethHope youz guys like this one better

Same here... The teeth don't go
I think the mean-ness (or cuteness) is mainly in it's eyes. If you were to draw the eyes with one sharp corner near the nose and may be some wrinkles up it's snout, the effect would've been far meaner (try to find a photograph of a growling dog or wolf to see what I mean)
Appart from that, I really like the shading job you did with this, as well as the darker background, which IMO set quite a mood. Good job
