close to my apartment at penn state. outcome was better than i had expected.taken with a point and shoot pentax.
i cropped the colour image; scanned as b&w.

I like the way it turned out. Black and white certainly was the solution on this. But I think it look a little blurry though, but that does not mean you did a bad job, just the camera. Therefore, I think this is a superb photo, illustrating the cold but beautiful climate in the north. Great job,

wow . i like it . to think that's from a pentax point and shoot . pretty nice . maybe it's just the black and white scan that's making it more than it seems . anyways . i really like it . only seen snow once in my life . its so nice . : )

Nice shot. The b&w preserves the beauty of the snow. Don't ask me to shovel though.

this is an absolutely georgeous shot. Actually, the black and white choice provides a colder feel to match the image. Excellent!
