Anime Evolution Print 03: Blending HeartsThe next up in my arsenal of prints for AE is a Kingdom Hearts flavored work.
The Picture
I decided to draw everyone's favorite destiny island residents ( well i like Tidus and Wakka too but they're no where to be seen in the second iteration ) When i saw this one in my head, i pictured Kairi at the bottom * looking as cute as i could draw her * instead of putting Sora first. I felt he'd look better at the top. I was going to go with a tint on each character ( like the art from the first game ) but in the end, i decided to keep it like this. Then as an added touch, i wanted the colors to kind of bleed off of the characters, and blend together.
As always, i wanna know what you guys think : )
Many thanks to the lovely for her sage like advice and assistance. She's the reason Kairi looks cute, and sora doesn't have Super Saiyan hair.

Kairi's papou plush is SO hugable!!!
On the down side Riku's face is a bit strange (I know how hard it is to draw profile)and Kairi's mouth is bit lower then it should be, in my opnion.
Other than that this picture is great and perfect "print material".

You haven't done something like this in a long time--if not the first time. I really love the colors, they work well together to make it a wonderful composition. They're eyes also make the picture very strong, and very intense. It's an awesome piece.

I would say judging by your description that you achieved what you were going for really well. I like the idea of the colours bleeding and blending a lot

It looks great. I really like it, and they do blend together well. Kairi looks adorable, and it's alright. The first time I drew Sora I couldn't get his hair right either. It's hard!! D:

Anyway, great pic and I love the coloring. Could you tell me what brush setting you use to paint? I only have PS Elements (came with Wacom tablet), so I dunno if I'll have them, but it'd still be nice to know what the pros use. Know what I mean?

Well, I don't have much on how to describe this, being everything I would have said has been said already ^^ (props to DarkArcana for the wisest of insight 
I DO however have a prime example of a girly Japanese designed character. Have you ever heard of a game called "Bujingai"? Well, the main character of this action adventure game (with some RPG elements) does look pretty girly... The oddest part of his design is that his facial features were given by a famous "male" singer over in Japan XD
Anywho, I love this piece with all my Squenix-fanboy heart 
P.S. I've always wanted to play Magna Carta... Any good?

I love how they're all facing at different angles, it sort of symbolizes the unique differences in each character.

The floating crown above Sora's head is a brilliant touch. You've really added a lot of your own flair on these characters which is what I like a lot about well done fanart. This is one of the best I've seen : D
