SleepOver Cut guestsWell guys, I know a lot of you voted, but your candidate to join the comic didn't make it - buuuuuuuut, that doesn't mean you aren't going to at least get to see them.
The first character we have is the runner up Fran
This is how she would have appeared in the story guys. Fran would have showed up late to the party with her own sleeping bag. Her reason for being late? She was off doing a last minute" Hunt " for a big reward.
Fran hails from FF12. She's of the Viera race which are essentially *bunny girls". You gotta appreciate Square enix's imagination. The only race cuter than they are, is the Moogles they're f*cking adorable!
And yes, before you ask, Fran does speak like that LOL * Just about EVERYONE in the FF12 game had a thick accent ( Cockney is a particular speech pattern, as spoken in parts of London - correct me if i'm wrong guys )

South African/English/Finland-esque accent."

Yeah, I loved the random Cockney in FFXII Just...why? LOL It was great to have accents though. And of course, the Brits were the villains and the Americans the heros. How else would it be?

i know nothing about your comic and haven't seen any pictures but i can already guess.
everyone of your characters are from final fantasy vii, viii, x and kingdom hearts and none of the other final fantasies. right?

and it's alright, I see a lot of 7, 8, and 10 myself * I can really understand where they're coming from for 7 and 10 - really great stories. Nothing really beats the touching story telling of the classics though - 5 had such strong bonds of friendship, and 6 was such a touching story of a group of characters just trying to find themselves, and their place in the world.

oh DAMN, how could I forget 9! I loved 9! It was like paying homage to the original mold of the final fantasy franchise. The distinct class looks, and the whimsical designs. Knight,black Mage, white mage, blue mage, dragoon, theif, summoner, warrior - it was all there. And it had a touching story to boot. * I'm not sure, but is Lost odyssey" the final fantasy series that played out on the gameboy. One of the first alternate series, like Mystic quest?

sorta, you see pretty much the man responcible for final fantasy 1-10 left.
his leave was laso the result of the merger between enix and square.
he formed a new company called mistwalker and with funding from microsoft created a game called lost odyssey. the game even pays little tributes to final fantasy including an airship captain named Sed, and a brother sister combo of mages. the game was fantastic but microsoft did little to promote it and it went unnoticed.
now enters nintendo, they got with mistwalker and the two are pretty much going up against final fantasy it seems with "the last story". i mean look at the name!!! last story, final fantasy!?!
all in all it was him and his team that made the final fantasies great, not mr. belts and zippers nomura.
who has gone from character designer to pretty much director and producer. which is why i personally feel square's games have gotten worse and worse. it should be noted 12 wasnt done by him but by the final fantasy tactics team, which also had some leave afterwards as well.

Actually, she should be wearing high-heels. In the description of viera's in the game, they have to wear high-heels because their feet are shaped in such a way that it's either uncomfortable or impossible (I forget the one) to walk without them.
I just love how Square Enix made an excuse for it. XD
