I don't like how all the women are ganging up on Sora. Why not have Riku or Zidane help him out? I'd say Cloud or Squall but they wouldn't be caught dead playing with pillows. For that matter, I think even might be beyond this. I'm not trying to heckle your comic, I just feel like you have great art but aren't staying true to the character's personalities. I mean, would Kairi be so pushy? Would Sheena ever buy that langerie? Can't you do fan service without changing the characters?

Sorry for the long reply, but I like to answer any questions people might have instead of just ignoring them, it's what we're here for, to discuss
I don't think there's too much out of the ordinary here. Granted I may be taking a few liberties here and there ( no need to take it too seriously, as it's just a silly comic ) but let's take a look at the situation here. It's not like the cast is in their usual situations. As far as they know, in this relaxed environment - they can be free to enjoy themselves and relax.
Part of what i'm aiming for, is to show the more private sides to a few of the characters, while telling a silly and amusing story. The great thing about working on a story such as this, is we can imagine what kind of "normal" behaviors each girl might have outside of the original story. It's why it's so important to make characters lovable to the demographic they're aimed at. What makes a great character is a character that we think about and even come up with our own scenarios for, long into the future, after the original story is done.
So yeah, Sheena might buy some lingerie like that in her spare time, especially if she had someone special to buy it for. Is it really uncommon for a woman to buy something like that?
When women have someone to care for, they can become pretty bold. You'd be surprised at how many women actually own a sexy piece of nightwear.
Also I am keeping in mind their personality types - You know as well as I do, that situation can influence character. If you think you're in a safe environment ( like an all girl sleepover ) you wouldnt' think twice about sharing something like that with the other girls, but introduce a BOY to the mix... Well, believe me, if you were the only guy at a sleepover, the girls would take advantage of the chance that your'e outnumbered, there is no group of girls that wouldn't find a way to gang up on you in some way if you were in a situation where you were completely outnumbered gender wise. It may not be "pillow fights" It might be embarrassing questions like " are you a virgin, what kind of girl do you like? Dance with us. Sora's a Newbie at a "sacred" event for girls, the "sleepover", so they're going to take advantage of the chance to "haze" him while he learns the ropes.
I'm taking in to mind all of the different variables when I put together the story, so I can tell an amusing tale of what would happen.
Also, I am keeping in mind character personalities, Sheena speaks her mind, and can be bold, but she still gets flustered, Yuna is finding herself, and though she's still soft spoken sometimes, she's trying to come out of her shell.
Is Kairi bossy? I refer you to the very first time we met her on the destiny islands. Yes she has her softer side, but the only other thing we've seen from Kairi, is her telling sora to stop being lazy, help make the raft, teasing him - she's very assertive. I'm just playing that angle up ( especially since it's all we've got to work with seeing as the rest of the time, she's been playing damsel in distress ). Yuffie's mischievous, Rikku is silly and cute, but also honest and straightforward.
So can I do fanservice without changing the characters? I have been thus far. Granted there's one variable of the story that changes things up later, but that's the point, it's a what if? most fan stories are.
Also, last point, the girls aren't just " ganging up " on Sora. If you remember, Kairi called out Sheena first, and it's not clear yet who's going to jump whom.
Sorry again for the long reply, I like to take the serious questions seriously.
It's a bit too early for a review on story direction, so just keep in mind, i've thought about the characters and the situation - I've got this, no worries.

But Sheena's ninja. And a hero. I just don't think her mind would work like that. Bold to her would like have something to do with her life style, not clothing. And definately not around other women (which there was before Sora came).
If I was the only boy as a sleepover I'd be a gentleman and go in the next room and play a video game so they could have their privacy. I know Sora's not as shy as I am, but I doubt he'd sit through all this. He's gotten older, and less goofy. More mature and responsible. And I've never liked the idea of Hazing. Doesn't that seem like the girl just want to bully him for the hell of it? I'm sure it's suppose to be all in fun, but it leaves a bitter taste in my mouth.
It's your comic, so I'll bare with it. But whenever daydream about what characters I like might do, I always consider "If the character in question saw what I was thinking, would they get mad?" I think in this case, the answer "yes".
Just trying to tell you another opinion. I know fanservice is wide spread and loved by many, but I liek to draw a line a little closer to home. That way I can look myself in the mirror and know I have shamed myself in front of my favorite characters.

Well that's just it, we don't know exactly what kind of inner ideas or thoughts she would have in her personal time, especially after having overcome her fears * the summon Volt, and her village, and even becoming chief * if you completed the Mizuho side quest. Being one of millions of fan artists, we all have our different ideas, but the fact is, one idea can't really be much more correct than that of our fellow man or woman. We don't know, as we're merely creating "what if" situations, based on the original idea of the character * from the creator *, the premise of our story idea, and our own personal life experiences.
I have quite a few under my belt * I'm getting old *, and am pretty clear, and understand women and men from all walks of life. You however, may have also encountered many different situations within' your own life, which lead to your view on the situation.
Also, If you remember, That was Sora's main intention, to stay out of the way, and help around the house, as he felt uncomfortable about the situation too, but the hosts wouldn't have it, or give him much of a chance to be "reclusive". Though you're right about the difference in your personality, compared to his. So in the end, it may just be a matter of preference.
Though I would say, while I can appreciate your manners, It would also be a little rude, or at least perceived, "rude" in the eyes of the host and guests, in a much lighter intensity, to refuse the host's ( with the agreement of the other guests) desires to have you included in the event. It would be seen as " well, they don't want to spend time with us while they're here.. fine : ( .
It would be different if the consensus was to have their privacy, in that case, Sora would have obliged as he originally intended to do.
So in the end, I believe it's just a difference in our individual personalities and experiences, neither is wrong, and I believe both have valid points.
I also can appreciate the fact that while you totally don't agree with the direction of the story, you are honest about it, and can still appreciate the artistic aspect of this silly comic. That's all I really ask for from my watchers, is their honest, and to feel comfortable letting me know what they think.
So we can agree to disagree about the story, that's cool, I respect that - but I'll keep dishing out the art. Besides, who knows? You might find something in the story that you like xD

And I understand sheer attraction of having these women in one room. I have a sex drive it's just been locked away due to a decade of... humbling &embarressing events.
But if I can survive all the innuedo (usually by Etna) and 4th wall breaking of Disgaea games, and still love them,then I know still love this.
