the scenery in 80s animation always seems to be really, really bleak. like, even the settings with trees and things look really post-apocalyptic. i'm not sure what happened to them in production, but... i love it!so this is inspired by that! the biggest inspiration is a movie called heavy metal. don't watch it sober lol
this is just a colored sketch. i literally used one brush for the whole thing and it turned out really cool!
