Sue's IQ Character card wasn't bad, but her 19 point cost and lack of a 7 in any stat made her a tough sell. Even with all those awesome defensive Specials. And frankly, her 6 Intellect always bugged me. She's a competent leader, easily on par with the likes of Storm and Cyclops. And she's the backbone of the FF, the glue that holds her team and family together. But none of that quite adds up to a 6 Intellect to me. That's a higher Intellect than Spider-Man. Dropping her down one solves both those problems. And there wasn't necessarily anything wrong with her Inherent Ability. It really meshed well with her role as a leader. For the longest time I considered giving her Captain Marvel's IA because honestly, that one fits her like a glove. But I think it also makes her too good. Like John Byrne era good. Way too OP for OP3. I'm happy with the modified version of her IQ IA. It's only effective when she's grouped with other FF-related characters, but there are going to be quite a few of those in the Core Set. On the upside, it could produce a higher bonus than her IQ IA, if she's got three FF teammates.
