Description
"Point Pleasant, West Virginia, November 15, 1966: two young couples, Roger and Linda Scarberry, and Steve and Mary Mallette told police they saw a large white creature with big round glowing red eyes following their car. They described it as a large winged man.
On a cold December evening, 1967, at around 5.00 p.m., the U.S. Highway Bridge, known as the Silver Bridge, collapsed. Thirty-seven vehicles were on the Bridge when it collapsed, sending 31 of them into the cold river water, killing forty-six people. Months prior to the incident, residents in the area had witnessed sightings of a man-sized, winged creature not far from the bridge. Some believe that it was somehow connected to the bridge’s collapse, either directly, or as a omen to what was to happen."
