*not pretty happy with this one but here it is!*
First apparition of Cedar, Owlcoat's brother! They were separated when they were kittens. In this scene, Goldenstorm and Lire discuss about the future of their relation but also that of their young.
Goldenstorm can't stay any longer alongside Lire because of his clan. Lire doesn't want to join him, preferring solitary life.
So before they break, they asked to their kittens if they preferred to stay with their mother or if they were interested by joining the clan. So, as you can guess, Owlcoat decided to live with Goldenstorm and Cedar stayed with Lire. Owlcoat didn't want to be separated from her father and wanted to join the clan and become a warrior.
Owlcoat and Cedar were told by their parents that they would never meet again (Lire is a kind of vagrant who often move somewhere else)
But history will decide that...

Okay, so I looked at the picture without reading the little quote, and as I looked into their eyes, I could tell something was wrong, yet I didn't know what. You obviously put a lot of work into this, to make their expressions so vivid! Great job! Next I moved to the quote, and I DEFINITELY knew something was wrong. I scanned over the picture once more before reading the description. This is such a heartbreaking moment, especially if some people can relate (as if their parents divorced, or one died), you caught this so well, amazing! I love everything about this!
