In this Lion King sort of universe, the lions are named after the pride's name. So if a pride is called Love Pride, a lion might be named Cherish or Ardor. Just a synonym for that word. You can use Thesaurus.com to find some other words. This universe also has a mix of Warrior cats and Wings of Fire in it. the Lion King part is just for the style. There are 5 Prides. Grand Pride, Fire Pride, Bitter Pride, Eerie Pride, and Merry Pride. Grand Pride is the largest of them all, as many loners and travelers join almost everyday. Fire Pride is easily angered and offended. Eerie Pride is located in an unusually thick forest with fog. Their leader is albino with ice blue eyes. Bitter Pride is very bitter and negative. Merry pride is the opposite of Bitter Pride. Their positivity spreads through everywhere, making them the second most populated pride. Minor prides do not have specific names according to their pride, they are merely named after wildlife or just words. There are such things as trading food for gold or sometimes fresh and filtered water. There are jobs and healers. Healers have the ability to speak to other species of animals, but it does drain their energy thus so making them having shorter lifespans then usual. At birth healers are determined by other healers and then taken in to be trained as soon as they open their eyes and walk and talk. Cheetahs and Leopards are allowed in the prides, but not very accepted by the lions.
Pompous is from Grand Pride, becoming outcasts with his two older brothers. Pompous is a very handsome lion, but he's lacking in quick thinking. His brothers and him are constantly looking for three small prides to take over and become one pride. Although Pompous doesn't like the idea of taking over a pride by himself, he goes with it anyway because he knows that he's strong but just doesn't like it. Pompous has an extended amount of melanism, causing the color of his pelt and mane.
