Every time I see horses in art, I just want to draw them! I love horses, they're so beautiful. This is indeed a lovely piece and I can tell it took a lot of time and you put a lot of your heart into it. It's simply beautiful and I thank you for sharing it with us all even though you weren't sure you wanted to at first. That would look great on my wall at home. xD;; Beautiful.

Haha, yes... this piece isn't really meant to be viewed on a screen, in the end... I just recieved the print and it's much better to be able to actually flip it around

This is beautiful. Personal drawings/paintings/sketches/whatever are the best I think. It makes you feel like being an artist is so much more than just making a pretty picture. This definitely deserved the DD. Congrats!

it's beautiful. i love the idea of opposing forces, the dark and the light. question: are Ecume and Caline actual characters from anything or are they just sort of forces or ideas you have?

Hehe, no they aren't characters from a book or anything - just... beings that have been in my head for a long time!
I wouldn't actually want to write about them too much, it would make them too concrete... I like them just to remain fuzzy presences, haha.

Oh my goodness! The detalis are wonderful. Love the eyes and the mane and the ... gee, actually I just love the whole sense of it. The expressions are wonderful. I saw it and thought 'That could be my new tattoo!!' (just so you figure, I liked it that much).

I may have no artistic talent myself, but I know when I see a good picture, and this is one of the best. This is one of the most inspirational pictures I have ever seen, and strangely enough you may have just given me an idea for a story (a bit unrealated to the picture, but the point stands.) Everything about it is wonderful. I think I shall have to go stare at it some more and muse. It is wonderful and not all of it is seen at once, there is hidden qualities that come out of it as you look at it...very well done.
