A character sheet of my scientist OC, Sizilan Dexine. Posting this now instead of waiting until I've done my other characters so that people can get a better view of my format for a character reference sheet. For any questions, simply send me a note.

As far as my thoughts on Sizilan go, in all honesty I'm proud of her design the most. I just feel like her hair stands out a lot, with a mix of common and unique elements that make her recognizable by silhouette alone. Admittedly, when I was designing her hair, I was thinking of Saya Takagi from HOTD, which explains the color and the pigtails. However, I didn't want to directly copy Takagi's design (plus I couldn't remember it off the top of my head anyway), so everything related to the bangs was of my design. I think the reason I made one of her pigtails made of the slime/goop was just to make it obviously that she's a pseudo candy slime girl (for the sake of making sense, the goop is released around the roots of her hair). The ribbon that ties her hair, while not the same shape, is inspired by Saya Takagi, enough said.

I don't want to get too much into detail as to her choice of clothing, but she often dresses in a way that's borderline professional, like how women wear dresses that show off their bust/figure at a fancy party. She used to wear nothing but but a tank top and basketball shorts (and still does on occasion), but in developing her character, I wanted to do something that would make her be taken more seriously, while still making onlookers a bit nervous. I honestly don't remember why I made her wear boots or a turtleneck or my reasoning for the color design, but it looks nice, so it's fine I guess. Interestingly enough, I redesigned her right before the "breast pocket sweater" fad kicked in. Funny how that works.
