is the mother okay? as soon as i saw this, the tiny baby all alone in the big hospital bed, i immediately thought of the mother passing away during delivery...i truly hope that is not the case. but that is what i felt, concern for the mothers health and baby's future.

So sad...The room looks so cold, and the baby facing away from the camera leaves me with the feeling he is crying and loneliness has taken hold.

This make sense to me as a Mom. Hard to believe, one minute the baby is in your belly while you are lying in the bed. Soon there is a little person, dressed lying outside the big world all around. Love the photo

I don't get why alot of people either dont get or dont like this photograph, we view things differently i know, but this photo struck such a chord with me straight away. i don't know what u meant to express with the photo, but to me it symbolized being born into a lonely world. i duno, i loved it, it's amazing. <3
