Commissioned by On The Lamb Games for commercial use, posted with permission.[This is part of an ongoing project, so expect to see this updated as I am assigned more of the characters to draw.]
Endless: Fantasy Tactics is a tabletop game heavily inspired from games like Final Fantasy Tactics, and as such I was tasked with creating sprites inspired by them as well. The battle sprites use the palettes from Final Fantasy Tactics A2. The mugshots use the original FFT's palette, and is a mix of its style and the look of Endless' style.
Overall, I am quite proud of how these pieces came out.

Cool! I've tried adapting Final Fantasy Tactics Advance (and A2) to tabletop myself, but never got very far with it. I'll be checking out the quickstart rules soon.
You've done an excellent job with these sprites so far. They definitely feel like Final Fantasy sprites, but they're distinctive enough to clearly be original designs. Both the blob wizard and the man with the yellow hat are Black Mage-esque. The purple-haired woman has a very sinister portrait.
