Description Lack Of Inspiration

finally, after many weeks of work i can proudly present my newest artwork. As you may know i was in a deep hole of uncreativity and i got out of it with this artwork. In fact, my own feelings and the fact that i was in such a deep hole, were the inspiration i needed and i made it to the theme of this artwork.

I only used photoshop cs 2 and stocks from photocase to make this.

I used many metaphors, contrasts and stilistic elements in order to reach the concept i had in my mind.

I hope you like it, because im really satisfied with it

it's not so much a problem. It's just I'm starting to see people, and myself, like your picture. They are growing, like a tree, but there are times when they are blind to the things that mean the most and could change everything for them. There are dark times in life, but the light is always there as well.

this is quite a manipulation, probably one of the most in depth conceptual ones i've seen as of late.
my question is this: i just got photoshop and corell and would love to learn how to photomanip to this level of achievement, and though i wouldn't ask you to explain the entire process behind this manip, would you give a tip or two to show how you made this deviation?

mhh a tip ? when youre so far that you can make a quite nice maipulation, always look for stockfotos which really fit to the light behaviour of the base stockphoto, this will increase a lot of reality. then try to understand shadows and lights and observe them in your enviroment in order to make it even more realistic by adding shadows and manipulate the light in your work...

wow, that is beautiful, in fact this greatly reminds me of the twins from the Navajo legend "A World on Turtles Back." This is awsome. I love the colors the hidden expressions and the scenes that are being revealed through them. This is a beautiful picture.
