Annnd I'm done! My entry for the contest held by this group in which it had to be Cream in autumn. Whether its a holiday pic such as halloween or thanksgiving or just a general seasonal pic.

8 days worth of drawing on gimp and its something i worked on whenever i wasnt eating, sleeping or at work. As per usual. I drew Cream and the tree trunks by hand then fine lined them before i scanned it in. I then drew the background sea scene, sky n clouds first followed by the sea and lastly the treetops. The painful bit was colouring Cream (and the trees) in because my scanner sucks so i had to do it 400% zoomed in, using a 4 pixel wide brush to make sure i got rid of stupidly random colours that appeared...I finished by shading it and adding "leaves" to the foreground trees.

I love the shading on the trees trunks. I just kept using particle based brushes and smudging it back and forth. So whaddya think? Just a small inkling, but i have a feeling this'll be more popular with the ladies (prove me wrong guys ). Wish me luck for the contest!
