Nice work. And don't worry about the background. It gets too detailed, and will draw away all the attention from the character. I made that mistake here [link] once. Her shirt was originally white, and she was almost invisible.

Her pose is odd, cute but a little off. Do you use references? :3 Her arm at her side looks oddly fat as well XD maybe cus there was no space, if you could see less it would probably make more sense or put more space between it. Ur doin good, her face looks a bit odd as well XD nose maybe??

hmm ^^ her arm is covered up by a loose sleeve which might make it look fat? I used a 3D model to help with the pose a bit. I think her face is weird too, but I think it's the outer shape of it not lining up with her actual face? I dunno >.<
