Fading everything to black and blue
You look a lot like you

Since the weather refuses to lighten up, I am forced to produce a sombre-toned photograph. I hate the winter, just look at that dark veil of cloud...
I know I recently did an umbrella piece, and I know umbrellas are ridiculously over-used in conceptual photography. There is a reason for that though; umbrellas are awesome. There should be a stamp in support of umbrellas... (someone make one!)
Anyway, this is my brother modeling for me once again, as I apparently have no friends.
Photoshop for levels, channel mixing, dodging/burning, noise reduction and cropping.

i love it. it reminds me of those skydivers who have the webbing in their arms/legs so they can fly better, but this is using an umbrella!

Wow, this is so symbolic and beautiful, you captured the moment perfectly. It's simple, yet complicated, and the color tone you picked is perfect. I like it dark, I think if it was lighter or a different color all together it would be different, so you did a wonderful job with this one. It's perfect. :]

heh, well I thought it seemed a bit dark for that sort of jovial name. I just love the song I quoted. That is how I name most of my work. Saves my own originality for the photography itself!

Maybe the photograph is dark by look, but your brother's pose is surely not one of those dramatic or sad poses. Not easy to change pose in mid-air though.
