Fading everything to black and blue

Since the weather refuses to lighten up, I am forced to produce a sombre-toned photograph. I hate the winter, just look at that dark veil of cloud...
I know I recently did an umbrella piece, and I know umbrellas are ridiculously over-used in conceptual photography. There is a reason for that though; umbrellas are awesome. There should be a stamp in support of umbrellas... (someone make one!)
Anyway, this is my brother modeling for me once again, as I apparently have no friends.
Photoshop for levels, channel mixing, dodging/burning, noise reduction and cropping.

i love the futile attempt to slow the falling.. but then, seeming to work.
also, i like the position your brother is in. besides the fact that the contorted shape is appealing to me, thinking about a person falling.. it looks like the wind below him is pushing his legs and chest upwards. (watch skydivers)
