Fading everything to black and blue

Since the weather refuses to lighten up, I am forced to produce a sombre-toned photograph. I hate the winter, just look at that dark veil of cloud...
I know I recently did an umbrella piece, and I know umbrellas are ridiculously over-used in conceptual photography. There is a reason for that though; umbrellas are awesome. There should be a stamp in support of umbrellas... (someone make one!)
Anyway, this is my brother modeling for me once again, as I apparently have no friends.
Photoshop for levels, channel mixing, dodging/burning, noise reduction and cropping.

Its really rather good. The umbrella is perfectly straight and silhouetted and this is where the photo hangs from so to speak. I like he is looking down but we can't see his face. I like the corded tendon on his desperate hands and the lighting is just right to show up his addias!

I think I like this shoot because it reminds me of being a Kid.
Well my childhood anyway.
I used always climb things and jump off them for that free falling feeling.
So I guess this image reminds me of those times.

i've seen a picture just like this one, same pose and everything except the model was a girl. but it's still awesome. another thing that is different is he looks like he is flying through a storm that might come, i like that .
