Description
Everyone stared in shock at Ken's words, especially Wormmon he couldn't' believe what he was hearing.

"But Ken. I'd never leave you." He said softly.

Ken looked at Wormmon with teary eyes. "But even if you don't leave me...I won't be able to stay...I did something I shouldn't have done...I should have waited for help." Ken cried and buried his face in his hands.

"Yes. That probably would have been the smarter idea than the idea you had at hand." Came a creepy voice.

Ken nearly jumped out of the bed but Davis put an arm in front of him telling him to relax. "Come out you coward!" Davis yelled.

Arukenimon, Mummymon, and Oikawa could now be seen by the window.

"It's time to go Ken." Oikawa said as he took a step towards Ken.

Tai and Matt got in front of them and Koromon and Tsunomon digivolved to Agumon and Gabumon and got next to their human friends.

"If you don't want a beating. I suggest you leave." Tai snarled.

"Wait." Ken said softly.

They all looked at Ken surprised, and TK spoke.

"But Ken these guys tortured you." Ken opened his mouth to reply to TK and the markings on his back flashed a bright red and he screamed in pain.

They all looked at Oikawa and Arukenimon.

"You did this to him! Take it off now! Your hurting him!" Kari yelled as she kneeled over her friend who was crying and screaming in agony.

"You want me to take it off?" Oikawa chuckled as he took another step towards Ken.

Agumon got in his way and growled. "Don't try it." He said looking into the man's eyes.

"Alright then I"ll take it off for you. But...I cannot do it here without the proper tools. The tools I need are back at my base. So Ken will be coming with me one way or another." Oikawa said.

"He's not going anywhere with you, you jerk. Who knows what you'll do to him!" Cody said.

"I see you don't trust me." Oikawa said looking at Ken.

"There's one of the reasons Captain Obvious." Davis muttered as he knelt next to Ken as well.

"Okay then I'll be nice and let one of your friends come with you to make sure I don't do anything, I'll even let you bring your pathetic Wormmon and your friend can bring their digimon as well. Take your pick Ken of course they have to want to come with that is too." Oikawa said with an evil laugh.

Ken looked around the room at his friends he was hoping to pick someone well understanding if they were to find out about what he'd done.

"M-Matt? Please..." Ken whispered as his vision started to get blurry.

Everyone looked at Matt a little surprised that Ken had picked him and not Davis, Matt was a little stunned too at first but he recovered.

"Sure buddy." Matt said and walked over to Ken Gabumon followed.

"Grrr...you won't get away with this you creep." Davis yelled.

"Don't worry at least your little friend has company now." Matt helped Ken up and Wormmon hopped on Ken's shoulder, Matt led Ken over to Oikawa, and gave the man a hard glare.

"You better not hurt him." Matt said viciously.

Oikawa chuckled and Arukenimon grabbed Matt's shoulder and then the power went out for only two seconds and then when the lights turned back on, they were gone.

"They're gone..." TK whispered.

"Grr...that monster!" Davis yelled.

Veemon looked up at Davis. "Don't worry Davis we'll get Ken back." Veemon said as he tugged on Davis' sleeve.

"I sure hope so." Davis muttered.

"Kari why did Ken pick Matt?" Gatomon asked hoping that her partner would know the answer.

"Well...I don't really know if I should say right now...I'll explain later..." Kari replied.

"Okay." Gatomon said with a nod.

~Digital World~

Oikawa led Matt who was carrying Ken on his back because this 'curse' was causing him too much pain to walk, Oikawa led them into what looked like a laboratory.

Matt started to get uneasy and Gabumon got ready to attack if need be.

Oikawa motioned towards the table metal table. "Lay him down on his stomach I'll get the tools ready." Matt gave the man a warning glare and gently slid Ken off his back and onto the table. Oikawa came back five minutes later and pointed to a chair.

"Please. Sit and relax, though I warn you there will be blood and lots of screams if I were to remove it." Matt's eyes widened and he started to speak when Ken spoke.

"I-I...just...please get it off...I'll do anything..." Ken cried as tears trickled down his cheeks.

Oikawa watched as Matt started to force himself to calm down, if it was what Ken wanted then he couldn't stop this. He had to respect his friend's decision.

Oikawa put one of his legs up on the table and sat Ken up against his leg while he took Matt's jacket off of Ken's upper body then laid him back down and strapped his arms high above his head so they were attached to the table.

"Wait. What are you doing?" Matt asked.

"I'm going to remove the curse, that is what you wanted correct?" Oikawa asked smugly as he pulled out a sharp instrument.

"Yes. But you can't just cut hunks of flesh off his body you'll kill him." Matt said standing up and clenching a fist.

"There is that chance...but if you want it off then we'll have to risk it won't we?" Oikawa said evilly, then looked at Ken when he heard the boy sob.

"W-Wormmon...I want Wormmon." Ken sobbed.

Wormmon hopped up onto the table and looked into Ken's eyes. "Please Ken. Think about this." Wormmon started.

"I-I have...*sob*...I want it off..." Ken said.

Oikawa suddenly cut into Ken's back carving the flesh with the curse markings off of Ken's back.

Ken let out a scream as he wriggled and squirmed trying to get free of the restraints.

"Ken!" Matt cried as he got up.

"Just relax Ken it'll be over soon." Oikawa said evilly.
