Description
This is Ken, from Digimon!!! *heart* For my friend nikki, , who loves Ken and the Kaizer as much as me!!!!!!! Check out her art, she draws cool dragons ^0^Anywho, this pic may look a bit busy.......but i just couldn't stop adding swirlies, it was too fun!!! ^_____^ Represents Ken's struggle against darkness from season 2. Good vs. Evil, light vs. dark, day vs. night. That's sort of what i tried to show =^___^= Hope it worked kinda.... o_O;;;

I decided my favorites section needed more additions, so I looked up a handful of my favorite characters to see if any good fanart might pop up.
I am just completely in awe by this! Amazing job - the detail is great, and the flow is wonderful. I don't think it's busy in the slightest, and I can't see a thing that I'd suggest changing. Great work!

Did you use an oekaki to do this? It looks as if it was oekakied. Hmm.. I like the concept of this. It's quite mystical, actually. But I probably would like it better if the lines were more.. ehmm... defined? It looks as if you faded in and out of defined lines and blurred/fading lines. Anyways, in a whole, I quite like it!

This is gorgeous! The profile looks so sad, and I think the picture does a really good job of reflecting the struggle Ken went through. ^_^ The arms reaching out for him are incredibly creepy, and all the detail... Good job!

Preettyyyy~! And not just because it's Ken! ^_~ The lighting is very nice, especially in the hair (which is gorgeous). His expression and the color choices made for the piece are great; the red/purple/blue-ness contrasted against the white is very pretty and really contributes to the feel of the picture. And don't apologize for the swirlies because I think they rock - they definitely give the impression that poor Ken is being entangled by the darkness/night/evil zombie hand things behind him. o_O

Spiff! I like especially the contrast between that cartoon/realistic rendering of Ken, and the illustrative/allegorical quality of the swirly parts and the rendering of the background. It belongs in a book of prints somewhere.

The swirls and the color tones create such a dark, hypnotic atomsphere. *_* Makes me feel like this belongs in a RPG booklet or something... Like Final Fantasy.
