This actually isn't my first Adrian and Franziska picture. Exactly one year ago to the day (this was not planned, I didn't realize this until yesterday), I posted my first artwork on FurAffinity, which you can see here: www.furaffinity.net/view/42907…

Back then, I was originally going to draw this detailed comic explaining how and why Adrian and Franziska can turn into dogs, and it's still kind of the backstory for this fanfic AU art thing. Basically, Adrian's codependent personality expressed itself in her ability to change into an Australian Shepherd. Like in canon, Franziska teaches her how to be more independent, but in return, she teaches Franziska how to be more relaxed and submissive by teaching her how to turn into a dog, specifically a Blue Lacy. This concept just really clicks with me, with the characters' personalities and all, and I want to draw more of it in the future.

As to a whole year of posting art, I haven't been approached for any commissions yet and I've felt a bit of burnout just from trying to do what I want to do. But all of the positive feedback I've gotten makes it all worth it. Thank you for watching and stay tuned for more!
