I sketched a bunch of thumbnails, and one of these was basically a plan for a drawing of a guard in a FNAF 2 setting. It was a simple half body thumbnail with a "100% done" kind of energy, so I decided to use the thumbnail sketch to draw Jeremy Fitzgerald: the tough as nails night guard with an on-the-rocks PI career.I actually failed the first time I tried to draw this. The face looked bad, and I tried to fix it, but ultimately wound up putting a hole through the paper trying, so I stared again almost immediately after the failed fix, and I've got to say, starting from scratch here was the best decision ever. I fixed all the mistakes of the failed version, so the actual final version has the same mood and energy as the thumbnail, and I don't hate it.
I actually love how it turned out in the end. It shows how Jeremy is a frustrated and broke PI working as a night guard in order to stay afloat, and how he's just always so done with the animatronics.
