Description
I keep joining challenges, but at least that's giving me ideas of things to draw. But at least I found another challenge where I can draw night guards, so I chose my boi Phone Guy. In the Renegade AU, Phone Guy = Phone 'Krasnyy' Guy, aka Krasnyy.
Both figuring out the pose and the weapon were annoying. I used Vroid studio to make a model of Krasnyy, and then I used the feature where you can manually make your own poses in order to make the pose that I had in mind, which I used as a reference.
The weapon was a huge pain, as I didn't know what to give him at first. I went through many ideas: a flail, a flail with a ball at both ends, honestly, it was mostly flails. Although after deciding on the current 'spike ball shoved on top of a phone' flail, I considered giving him a knife as well, but I decided against that, as that would be too much.
After I finished the drawing, I realized that the weapon wasn't quite the focus of the art, so I drew the weapon larger and seperate. This gave me a chance to shade it better, and show it from a different angle.
Also, I made some plot-text below: the transcript of what the person in the AU who would have designed the weapon said in regards to Krasnyy's (of all phone guys who could have used it, the weapon was given to the weakling) effective use of the weapon.

Dispite the weapon looking clunky and heavy, it's actually rather light, accomodating the users lack of physical strength. A flail is a suitable weapon, as it relies on momentum rather than strength, and the chain of the weapon itself can be a versatile tool.
On the subject of possession, that in of itself is more of a tool than a weapon, and note that the person in the night 1-4 calls is the same as night 5, but in night 5, the spirit possessing him was in control. It was, well, the equivalent of a friend reading a transcript of a novel so loud that it drowns out your own screams for help. Yes, that's how he described it, no this is beside the point.
Back on topic, for someone who struggles, even with someone far stronger than him helping, to move a empty chest of drawers, he's adapted to using a fairly clunky flail rather well, so, yeah. He's also used the chain for climbing. Expected, but still noteworthy.
