Description
Well, this drawing was a pain to get out. Not only was my teal colouring pencil a pain to use, but I kinda just used the challenge as a reason to actually finish an old sketch. The only colouring pencils other than the teal colouring pencil was two black colouring pencils, as that's how I shade drawings. When it came to taking a photo of this, it took way too long, and swinging between pointing my phone at an open window and then immediately back to the drawing to take a photo in order for my phone's camera to decide to take a photo that actually kept the drawings colours instead of trying to make it beige. Like, seriously! It took way too many tries to get a photo that wasn't blurry and actually had the colours of the drawing.
Now onto the contents of the drawing: this is a humanised version of the Springlocked Vincent Taylor, AKA TaylorTrap/ Lab Rabbit. This is what people would see him as if he nicked one of the disks.
Weird humanised AU Springtrap aside, the colouring was difficult. The only teal colouring pencil I had was one out of a decent set, but the colour in that set isn't as thick as the colours in the sets I mainly use, so trying to make some areas more saturated was hard. Another hard thing was making sure my shading style worked for the challenges rules. To make sure nothing was just grey, I made sure to colour in the areas I was going to shade beforehand so there's always an undertone of teal.
Other than that, teal works, as this Springtrap spends a lot of his time in his sister lab as a test subject, hence the nickname 'Lab Rabbit', and teal has kind of a sci-fi lab feel to it.
