Another drawing of my AU's Shadow Freddy, Philip Guy!I decided to mix the style of the coloured sketches that I made for round one with my normal style to create this. As the human part requires more colours than what my highlighters can be used to display, I coloured in the human part as I would a normal drawing, and the animatronic part in highlighter.
In think the mixed methods look really cute, so I might try this again sometime.
I wound up going over the highlighter bits in pencil afterwards in order to darken the colours a bit, as they were quite vibrant. I also opted to shade the entire peice in my normal shading style. I had to break out my tiny Faber Castell black in order to shade, as that was the only thing with enough pigment to stick to the page without my heavy handedness risking tearing the paper.
I should probably get some new black colouring pencils.
