From the same story as two characters I posted yesterday, I was calling it “Liminality” as a placeholder name when I was working on it lol.
Sydney and Aaron were Jay (aka the stranger, the grey rabbit)‘s roommates, and Dawn was Kristopher’s(aka the narrator, the chihuahua/terrier)‘s girlfriend. Sydney works for a call centre part time but is also a moderately popular social media personality, Aaron is a line cook and the one subletting the apartment, and Dawn is an occupational therapist who is also involved in an essential oils pyramid scheme
