Well, Disney did kill Raymond, but he was a side character.

Raymond is immortalized in Frozen as an Easter egg: In the first seconds of the movie, we see two stars in the same orientation that we see the two stars after Raymond dies. Up until that time, in the intros, there is only one star, symbolizing the single star that Gippetto wished upon.

huh, though I've never seen Princess and the Frog. I'll admen my statement. Disney does have it's deaths, but coming back to life is unusual. I think the last time I recall of a revival was with the Beast.
