Zora grew up with a strong hate for the league. Her parents were never home to care for her, because they were always out trying to beat the league. They said they would be home when they beat the league but her parents were not good trainers and lost every fight. You would think they would give up and take care of their daughter, but they never did. She had to learn how to live on her own at an early age because of this.
One day when Zora was 16 she heard about a team called Team Zephyr. They fought against the league and wanted the best for the region and the pokemon. Zora quickly decided to join the group and help in their fight. Zora was nervous at first but soon met others in the team and quickly made friends. This made Zora happy to finally have people to talk to.
She worried a little after she joined if her parents would come home and find her missing. She worried that they would try to find her and once they found out she had joined Team Zephyr they would make her leave her friends. She soon decided her parents hadn't cared enough to take care of her for the past 16 years. Why would they suddenly decide to take care of her when they hadn't for so long? She finally had friends and a family she could be with, and she would never leave.
