btw I not inkking by digitail much too because I do by hand better than digitail^ ^

I like what you did with the lighting on the character, especially on the face- looks 3D'ish without being over-rendered (if that makes sense). Her fan is cool too- alot of attention to detail. Did you use displacement maps?
The fingers are kinda boneless looking. I understand you might have been going for a delicate graceful hand, but something is off- maybe they need to be a little shorter.
The whole concept is cool though- nice style.

Displacement maps are what is called in photoshop to take one image like a pattern or texture and put it over another so that it follows the curves of the bottom image.
I think you do this with the Displace filter.
I don't know much about it, I just know how it works from some tutorials.

the way the stream made by the fan looks like it was brushed or scrached upon a rough surface looks really intriguing, as well as fun to look at

SIMPLY STUNNING JOB ON THE PATTERNS IN THE KIMONO!!! The fan is great too, and the colours generally rock. But the pattern in the kimono is FANTASTIC!
