Personality: Dongmei is a spunky loud mouth. Despite the sexism in her family she is not afraid of speaking her mind. She is constantly testing her boundaries with the elders in the village. She is over protective of her older sister and cousin.
Notes:
- Dongmei name means "winter plum". She was named with because she was born in winter and because of her hair and eye combination.
- Her mother died when she was 5 and her father died when she was 8. So she was primarily raised by her sister and cousin.
- Even though her sister is her opposite. Her sister was still looked up to Huan. Dongmei still wants to eventually wants to become a good wife and mother. But she fears a relationships because doesn't want to be treated inferior to a man.
