Soo my style has changed over the past couple months and so has Zren Thanks to Fiyero~
I'll officially update this when I've finished redrawing her accessories and add her new ones. xP

Talents:
Dancing - Since she was able to walk her mother taught her everything she knew about dancing right up until she was eleven years old and her mother was too ill to even get out of bed. Though, she's stopped dancing since her mother's death her movements are still pretty controlled and graceful. She's very light on her feet and because of all the rigorous practice from her childhood she still has maintained excellent control over her muscles.

Staff Wielding - This is pretty much completely self-taught and she's not amazing at it, but it can still be considered as a talent. She's decent at attacking and defending with her staff, but could still use some practice.

Athletic(best word I could think to describe it xD; ) - While her wings may be weak and small her body is still pretty strong. This is mainly due to training in the woods when she can manage to get out of her father's sight. She's not perfect but she can manage gymnastic kind of moves, has a pretty high stamina and can jump decently high(usually with the help of her wings and staff). She's also known to pole-vault with her staff and uses it as a jumping start to fly a little higher than normal.

Personality: Despite her disabilities she's very fiesty and doesn't like to give up that easily. No matter what she'll always give something a try and will give it her all.

She's a major tomboy and always tries to act tough. In truth, though, she's a bit of a coward and is always conflicted by wanting to be tough and wanting to turn tail and run for it. Usually, her tough act gets the better of her and she'll often run into conflict without thinking(since she knows she'll back out if she thinks too much about it).

She likes to act "manly" since she fears showing any weakness to someone will make them want to baby her like her father. She will rarely cry in front of others and usually just acts angry and storms off if she's on the verge of tears.

Zren saw just about everyone in her hometown as family so she never really had any interest in any of the men in town. Now that she's left her home she's finding that she often feels awkward around men. She tends to get flustered easily if she's close to any guys(i.e. bumps/falls/runs into them).

Possibly to make up for her lack of voice she tends to go overboard with her expressions when trying to get a point across. She also uses her actions to convey how she feels and these are often exaggerated or extreme in order to get someone's attention. She tends to get irritated easily if someone ignores her while she's trying to get their attention and can sometimes be quick to use violence(i.e. throwing her journal at someone if they won't look at what she's trying to tell them).

She's really easy to egg on. Normally if someone wants her to do something it's easy to challenge her into it by saying something like "bet you can't do -insert task here-". She absolutely hates when she's told she doesn't have the ability to do something and will often try to prove someone wrong. She's very competitive.

She's incredibly loyal to those she considers friends and very protective of them. She's the kind of person that will toss aside any fears in order to protect someone she cares about and rarely will forgive someone who has wronged a loved one.

History: Zren comes from a small rural village in Alora. Her mother was a native of Risohli and met her father one day while traveling to Alora. Her father had been just walking down the street when he saw Zren's mother dancing and instantly fell in love with her(yay love at first sight! ). The two obviously fell in love together and about six years later Zren was born.
Her mother was a full-blooded nekomata and a mute by birth(this trait was passed onto to Zren too). After a year of living in Alora they found out that she reacted rather badly to climate changes over a long period of time. So, for the first couple of years of her parents' married life her mother would spend half the year in Risohli and the other half in Alora. Zren has two older brothers and her mother would bring them with her for the half of the year she spent in the Autumn country.

Zren was born prematurely and since she was so weak as a baby she reacted even worse to any climate changes. She often would get sick from only spending a week or so in Risohli's climate. Fearing for her baby's life, Zren's mother decided to stay in Alora most of the year with Zren until she was strong enough to travel. For the first couple of years of Zren's life her mother would take only week long trips to Risohli every now and then.

For a few years things worked out pretty well. Her mother wasn't as strong as she used to be, but she seemed to be staying healthy. Now an unemployed mother, she would spend all of her time taking care of Zren and her two older brothers. By the time Zren started walking her mother began to teach her how to dance.

Since Zren was born so small her wings stopped growing when she was five years old. By the age of eight she began to lose her ability to fly well. At this time her mother began to teach her to dance more vigorously, believing that while Zren could no longer be graceful in the air she could still be graceful on land.
After ten years of decent health Zren's mother's health slowly began to deteriorate. By the time Zren turned eleven her mother's health had gone so down hill that she was bedridden. Shortly before her twelfth birthday her mother passed away.

Having been very close to her mother Zren refused to dance again after her mother's death much to her father's displeasure. He probably took her death the worst and quickly became more attached to Zren since she was the only remaining female of the family and obviously reminded him of her mother so much. Fearing that he'd lose his daughter too he began to baby Zren, not allowing her to do anything even remotely dangerous and wanting nothing more than for her to take up her mother's profession as a dancer. Zren obviously rebelled against this, stating that she'd rather be a warrior like her brothers and father. Her father completely forbade her from persuing the career, though, Zren found ways to sneak into the woods to practice with a staff. Around this time Zren became a massive tomboy and often used to try to pass herself off as a boy since she felt that she'd also be babied by others because of her gender like her father did.

The day she turned seventeen she left her village leaving only a note behind and set off for Auric City to become a bounty hunter.

Additional Info:

- Zren inherited her mother's muteness so she's been unable to speak since birth though she can make little noises like grunts. When angry she'll growl, or at least try to, though it comes out a little bit awkward and low. She usually communicates by writing in a journal given to her by her mother.

- When angry, threatened, or scared her tail puffs out and her hair raises a little(kind of like a cats) and she'll extend her wings.

- Her wings are smaller than usual since they stopped growing while she was young. Luckily she's stayed moderately small so she can manage some flight but it's more hovering than flying and she can only manage to get a few yards off the ground. To even do this much she usually has to flap her wings really hard which often tires her out(more so than running does) so she usually won't even attempt to fly.
She's a little self-concious about her weight and feels that the only reason why she can manage any flight is because she's stayed in shape. Her diet consists almost completely of fish and other lean meats and she tries to avoid anything fatty if she can.

- She absolutely loves climbing. Often when she wants to get away or relax she'll climb a tree and just relax on a branch. She feels it's the closest she can get to the sky since she can't even fly above the tree tops.

- She has a few scars on her shoulders and her right arm from where Silas's talons dug into her. If someone notices/sees the scars she likes to pass them off as "battle" scars to make her look tough.

- Has stopped wrapping her chest after loosing her crop top. She now wears the bandages loosely as a top of sorts.

- She doesn't really like wearing a lot of clothes and gets over heated easily while in Alora, though if she were to travel to the colder countries she'd definitely be freezing.

- Because of her background in dancing and also just because of her being rather athletic she's pretty flexible though not amazingly so. She also has a really good sense of balance.

- She's completely innocent when it comes to anything sexual and usually doesn't get sexual innuendos. This kind of makes her get flustered and embarrassed even more easily.

- Though, she's gotten a lot stronger since her childhood she still tends to get ill easily when in the colder countries. Just like her mother she's prone to getting sick when she's in either Lumeria or Risholi. It's never anything massively serious at first but if she stays there for too long her health can worsen. She's perfectly fine when in either Alora or Elavaneris.

- Loves fall colors because they remind her of her mother.

Accessories:

Staff - Having ditched her old staff for a less ornamental one she now carries around a regular worn wooden staff.

Falcon - Silas is the name of her falcon. She found Silas around the time her mother started to fall ill. He was a young falcon who had injured his wing and couldn't fly. Feeling sorry for the poor bird she took him in and nursed him back to health. When his wing finally worked again she tried to set him free but the falcon kept returning.
He'll never fly that far from her and will usually fly as low as Zren can, usually urging her on with small chirps and whistles when she's having difficulty. Zren usually tries to communicate with him by whistling.
Because Zren can't speak Silas isn't really used to his name and often won't really listen if you call to him. He's more inclined to listen to Zren when she whistles than when someone calls him by name.

Journal - The journal is a keepsake from her mother, she tries not to use it that much for that exact reason. She'll usually try and write on something else and will only use her journal if she has no other way to tell/write something. The journal is only about 1/4 of the way full and she'd probably keep it even if it was full.

Messenger bag - I guess you could say this is sort of a keepsake since it belonged to her father though she really took it without his permission. xD;; It's made from leather.

Dagger - Kind of her back-up plan in case she loses her staff. She keeps her dagger sheathed behind her back, tucked away in the folds of the scarf wrapped around her waist so that the hilt is just barely showing.

Sword - The sword was made by Solaris. She's not very good at using it, but is slowly learning thanks to the Weapons smith.
