sketchdump of the day based on doodles in my physical sketchbook~ this time with colors!

1) I still don't really know how to draw dragons, so I've been trying to learn a thing or two. After fiddling around with a few names, I've decided to name her Zyafrel. I'm bound to make more art with her in the future, so we shall see how that goes!

2) As much as I love her dreads, I draw them with more control on paper...

3) This character came about randomly. A friend of mine gave me the task of creating a character using a vegetable, shorts, boots, and something else that I can't quite remember. So I modeled her hair after broccoli in an afro-puff style and her uniform mimics those of magical girls. Although she doesn't use magic, she's pretty handy with swords and ranged weapons. Don't let those eyes fool you... At the moment she doesn't have a name, but she's partners with the girl in #4

4) Her eyes are shadowed off because I'm still working on a design for them. She is #3's partner (in their nameless universe) and has vitiligo. Her uniform lacks the puffy sleeves and tail-coat, and has pleats that drape over her shorts. Unlike her partner, #4 uses magic and is more serious about finishing their assignments. I'll have to expand on their universe, but these two are a pretty good starting point.

Now...to figure out names for these two kids.
