[ Appearance ]:
Snarethroat is still young. He is a short cat with somewhat stubby legs. He is very much a ginger cat with a few patches of darker fur scattered around in his pelt. He has a lighter underbelly and muzzle. His fur length is relitively short until it gets to the end of his tail and it flares out in a feathery fashion. His fur is also a bit long near his forehead and curls over into his signature large poofy curl. His ears are somewhat short and small, and his legs are short but strong. He's not a very good runner, but makes up for that with tactic and strength.

Brief History :

Snarethroat grew up a happy Kitten. He had a loving family. Shadespot his mother, and Saberfang his father loved eachother very much. They were blessed with two kittens one year. A tom who they named Snarekit and a she-kit they named Goldenkit. Those two were inseperable. They went everywhere together and they loved eachother like siblings should! One day when the two woke up in the nursery they found out that their parents had just disapeared. Snarekit was confused, but his sister convinced them that they would be back. The two kits sat in the nursery for almost a week before Snarekit tried to talk Goldenkit out of this waiting game, and that they would be back soon. Goldenkit didn't listen, but Snare went back to his life and being a kit and played with the other kits. His sister still spent most of her time waiting and watching for her parents in the nursery.

When Snarekit was made an apprentice so was Goldenkit-- er paw now! While Snarepaw started his training Goldenpaw still went back to sitting in the nursery and waiting, waiting, waiting. She caused herself to get sick. She started to barely eat, and Snarepaw was worried. He tried to help his sister but she was long gone. A young apprentice who was still hurt over her parents leaving. More time Passed and Snarepaw was finally given his warrior name. Goldenpaw didn't even bother to come. This is when Snarethroat snapped at her, and told her to get her stuff together and stop waiting for their parents. They weren't going to return anyway! Now adays Snarethroat is enjoying his days of being a warrior and pays absolutely no attention to his sister who is still trying to get her life back together after the shock from her brother's outrage. He doesn't care much for people who mourn anymore, and he refuses to talk about his parents. His hidden grudges have never been spoken and he doesn't think they ever will be.

His warrior life went well at first as he was assigned Hazelpaw as his apprentice and he took great pride into teaching her how to be the best warrior possible. He formed a small bond with her and felt very connected and happy with their small friendship. He had never seemed to have a friend before like her. After she became a warrior and took the name Hazel-light Snarethroat felt extreme pride in what he had helped her with and hoped to never forgot this. He tried to keep up his friendship with her but things died down fast and he felt himself falling back into his lonely attitude. Warrior life had become boring. Everything was repetitive and he hated it. Every day he woke and got orders from Spiderstar to do this and that, and the ginger tom began to start back talking his leader. It was no surprise when he ended up cleaning out the elders den from now on. The elders hated him and he hated them back, along with his leader for making him do an apprentice's task.

One day he was allowed to finally go on a patrol instead of going to clean once again. He did not talk back and was sent out with a she-cat named Morningsun. Morningsun seemed to always strike Snarethroat as absolutely beautiful and he fought the urge to try and whoo her. Things turned for the worst when a large blizzard hit and both the cats ended up stuck in a small abandoned badger den. Both of them talked for a while and Snarethroat started to hit on her, when she denied him he became upset and angry, once again. Things did not go well from then on when Snarethroat suddenly became angry. He couldn't remember much else of that night, but he knew he had done something pretty terrible. Forcing himself on another cat would definitely make the spirits angry at him, and he feared for that. The next morning she was gone and he decided to take his leave. He felt an extremely heavy feeling of guilt for what he had done, and decided to stay away from camp a few more days. He thoroughly enjoyed his time alone hunting for himself when he wanted to. It wasn't until a patrol found him when he returned to camp. He had lied about getting lost in the snow for a few days and the patrol believed him. Once getting to camp he tried his hardest not to face morningsun. She still looked beautiful and he still retained his huge crush on her, but after what had happened he would probably try to never speak to her again. Things weren't going to work out and he knew it. He felt disgusting just like he was.

Things somewhat turned to normal when he returned. He ended up going on more single hunting patrols as given to him by their new leader scorchstar. He did his best to remake his name, but he had a figure that everyone might have known what he did to morningsun. On one of his single patrols across the willowclan border he happened to come across a crying she-cat with beautiful red and white fur by the name of Blossompaw. He did his best to comfort her even if he was in a sour mood, and things seemed to be working out. He complimented her until the tears disappeared and Snarethroat left feeling really good about himself for once. Blossompaw was a wonderful cat and he enjoyed her company. The ginger tom hoped to starclan that he would get to see her again, yet he knew a friendship across a border is asking for trouble. After returning to camp he found that Morningsun was being taken to the nursery. He felt his heart drop and didn't know what he was going to do. Morningsun had no other mate at the time, that snarethroat knew of and he didn't know what to do yet again. He kept his cool as best as he could but later in that night he found himself running off again. This tom couldn't help but be cursed with the worst luck. He thought to himself over and over again as he was out in the snow at night. Would these be his kits? Would morningsun want to have a relationship with him now? Would things ever get better between them or would he be stuck forever wondering how things would work. He thought it through and figured he had a while to wonder about this. The ginger tom headed back to camp and the next morning asked Morningsun if the kits were his. His suspicions were correct, but morningsun immediately turned his acquisition for a relationship down. He had done too much damage to her and he knew he had.

A few months past and morningsun had moved on to be with a tom named blackheart. Snarethroat was left alone yet again, yet he knew he his four kittens were going to be born soon. Sure they probably wouldn't care or know he was their father, but he could dream they may love him. When they were born he wondered from afar what they looked like and if any of them resembled him. Going into the nursery would have been a huge mistake on his part so he waited things out. During a particularily dark night he made his way over to the nursery to find morningsun asleep with her kittens curled around her. Snarethroat felt a pang of sadness and pride envelope his heart. There were four like everyone said and they were all beautiful. Everything he had wanted from a family. He knew there had been two girls and two boys. He wondered if maybe he could convince Scorchstar to let him have one as his apprentice. Maybe then they could be friends. He eventually left the nursery when morningsun started to squirm. He did not return to the warriors den that night and decided to go on his own way to think more. Each of the kits left a lasting thought in his head and he questioned if maybe if he asked morningsun would let him help. He was willing, and he wasn't angry anymore. At this point he was desperate for someone, anyone to enjoy his company. Though, on his way back he knew it was a bad idea. Things never worked out with him anyway.

After a while the kits grew and he watched them blossom from afar. Though, one had died in the nursery from sickness and he mourned, like he swore he never would, for the poor kit who resembled his father. The other three grew into adulthood and were wonderful admirable souls. Rosepaw, Timberpaw, and Viperpaw all received a mentor who was not snarethroat, and thought he was upset about that he could still love them from afar. Though, he never once spoke to any of them he honestly though he had a strong connection with them. Rosepaw seemed to favor him a lot and he loved her the most, though he would never ever tell his other kits ! At one point in time he gathered up enough courage to talk to her. He tried to explain that he was her dad but things didn't work out. Rosepaw didn't believe him, and didn't seem to want to. He was crushed and angry, and not only that had happened but Viperpaw and Timberpaw both died a within a few weeks of each other. Snarethroat was put back on the edge all over again. He couldn't take it anymore and when he was feeling to agitated to do any of his work he started to snap. He could get away with it before, but Threadtail- the deputy- was not going to take any of that from him. He hissed and he snarled screaming at her that clan life was stupid and he hated it. He hated everything about it and how inconvenient it was to him. Threadtail could take no more of his bitterness towards clan life and struck him. He received scars across his face and as a reminder and was exiled from the clan.

Rogue life treated Snare well. He loved being independant and everything had fixed his stressed nature. No more did he feel angry or paranoid about how things were. He had forgotten about Morningsun, but never Rosepaw. He would never forget his single baby girl. Snarethroat even had been accepted by some two-legs and had became a barncat. Now he didn't even need to hunt. He had mice for days and days, but yet again lonesomeness struck his heart and he found himself friendless once again. He decided to take one last stroll through the clan territories and collect some old forest mice as a reminder. During this hunting trek he ran into a girl once again, but not any girl. It was blossompaw, or blossomwhisker now. She seemed upset once again and Snarethroat soothed her hurting soul. He explained to her about how things happened for a reason and she wasn't alone. They both realized they shared feelings for each other, and Snare offered to let Blossomwhisker come with him to the barn. He explained about the mice and the warmth and how she never ever would have to get herself hurt again.

The two eloped after blossomwhisker had to take a moment to think over her family and past. Things would be difficult snarethroat knew, but he was finally with someone he loved who loved him back. The feeling of being alone never haunted him again, and he was ready to start a family with Blossomwhisker where they could live in the barn together. He could picture his kits enjoying their lives in the barn and loving him like his kits never did. So, Blossomwhisker eventually became pregnant and Snare was a father to be once again. Since this is snare we're talking about, everything didn't work out. Their barn home was quiet one day. So quiet he couldn't help but wonder what was going to happen and his instincts told him something bad was about to go down. He didn't want to risk anything so he lead blossomwhisker up land and towards the highgrounds. They trekked through stoneclan territory that had never changed and snare knew it like the back of his paw. It was right before they reached the highgrounds when the water came in the distance. Snare turned his head to look back right as he witnessed something two-leg built break and release waters like he had never seen before. He gasped and tried to hurry blossom up the hill saying over and over that he wasn't going to let it end like this. In the end they both made it safely up the hill.

The two were alive and ok, but Snare secretly panicked about where he would take care of blossom now. Where would his kits be born if there was no barn? The water receded after a few days and leveled out. Snare decided that Blossom and he would head back to the barn if he could. He was scared of what might have happened, but he found the barn still there, but no human to be found. He had never realized the barn was on such high ground the water hadn't touched it. He sighed relieved and turned to blossom happily. The two would live on for a while longer things were good and he waited patiently for his kits as the humans returned to the barn and brought the mice with them.
