Emett is grumpy and sarcastic but it is only a show, the young vampire is actually sweet and mischievous. He is the prince of Viscotia a land ruled by a line of vampiric cats. Only those of royal blood are vampires. However one may become a vampire by marriage and becoming queen or king with the ruling heir,( if they are willing to become a vampire) or the heir has no children chooses their heir.

The royal family drinks the blood of wild game and domesticated cattle as all the ancestors have done. The kingdoms inhabitants are small and medium-sized felines with some domestic breeds of cat. Large breeds of big cats are extinct and have been for a while. It, however, is not uncommon for cats to have big cat ancestry and therefore are bigger and have some of the markings of big cats.

Living by the sea the kingdom is skilled in fishing and making boats, as well as being surrounded by forest on the west and east. The sea in the south and ancient forest at their side the only means for an attack are the plains in the north. On the east lies Viscotia's neighbors, The kingdom of Vurin a thick forest filled with canine and Ursaline folk. To the north is the Dural queendom, ruled by the fierce and dishonorable Vermin queen, her subjects consisting of rabbits, ferrets, mice, and other small woodland creatures.
