My newest paper cut portrait is V from the graphic novel: V for Vendetta by Alan Moore. I wanted to start experimenting with backgrounds and decided on a clock background. I based the portrait of V off the artwork by Joel White. Check him out at joelwhite.deviantart.com/It is a five layer portrait cut and two layers for the background. Really like how this one turned out. I think I will start adding more backgrounds in my cut portraits.

This is beautifully done. I'm always impressed by the textures you create and your layering, but this piece shows of your composition skills. The clock was a great choice for the background it is very well done. I always have trouble with this technique (cutting a background from a single sheet). It requires so much precision with cutting and glue application.You've achieved both well.
