Description
Here it is, my final assignment (thesis work?) in Lybecker Institute of Crafts and Design.This little thing was my life from last December all the way to to the last days of May. I was supposed to upload this month ago, but unfortunately the original file was too big for DA, and I didn't have a film editing program of my own, so you can all thank my friend ~Drazca for letting me use her computer with Adobe After Effects. ^^
Animation, story, narration, voice acting and foaley artistness is by yours truly, the dog barks and growls in fourth scene are free sound effects and the music used was catalogue music, which licence belongs to Lybecker Institute of Craft and Design, and are free to use in projects within Lybecker.
In case you were wondering, the speech is in my mother tongue. That's what Finnish sounds like.
I am now officially diagnosed with animation. Oh, yeah!

I had to watch this twice to assure myself that I hadn't just dreamt it the first time. This is absolutely stunning! The animation is top-notch, and I really look forward to seeing any more of your animations if you share them with us. Personally, I think you should have kept in the line about the official history books always being written by the winners, but that's my only gripe and its a minor one. Bravo!

I wanted to keep the notion about history books in too at first, but then I discussed about it with my teacher. It would have required too much of the narrating voice, as I was supposed to concentrate on the animation. In the end I let the visuals to carry the story, but at least the line will stay in the comic version. ^^

The subtitles are hard to read sometimes, especially here where the background is light. Was forced to pause it to decipher the text

Perhaps you'll be able to find a sound designer to team up with. Or find proper sound libraries

All right, nicely done animation. The canines move very naturally and the feeling is good.
However, I didn't feel it flowed as smoothly as it could have. There were a lot 'stops' in there which killed the flow a lot.
I also think you should have kept it silent, and used either text to tell the tale or just let it tell the story on it's own.

I love how fluid everything is,a nd how wonderful the little intro is. Really gives a full life to your comic/story. I love the pups at the end, aww it made me sniffle.

Siehän teetkin Wurrista joku kaunis päivä animaatioleffan, etkö teekin~ Ehehe, en halua edes arvata paljonko aikaa ja vaivaa se veisi, jätetään se seikka nyt huomiotta.
Mutta siis juu. Mitä sanoisin. Tykkäsin tästä animaatiosta kahdella erilaisella tapaa, sillä tapaa, kuin taustat olivat olemassa, ja sillä tapaa, kun animaatiot toimivat. En kuitenkaan tätä pidempää pätkää mieluusti varmaan noiden sekoitusta katselisi, vaikka ne toki korostavat toisiaan, mutta samalla ne myös. Korostavat toisiaan tavalla, josta en pidä? En oikeastaan osaa edes perustella tätä sanomaani nyt, se vain on mielikuvani. Animaation olivat mukavan sulavia ja realistis-karikatyyrisoitua, koneväritys ja kaikki ihan nappiin. Kun emo ja pennut otettiin kuvaan, tuntui myös tausta toimivan tässä kohtaa samalla tapaa kuin koiruusanimaatiot (vaikken tokikaan tiedä miten olet minkäkin toteuttanut), se oli mukava nähdä tunnelman kannalta.
Ja lopputekstit oli kivat. Tekstien ulkoasu oli kivan Wurrmainen.

Juuuuuuuu, ehkä mahdollisesti, jos saan raavittua jostain kasaan animaattorien armeijan. Mutta kyllä mie vielä animaatiota teen jatkossakin, miulla on siihen nyt ammattilaisen pätevyys. ^^
Taustat ovat tässä monessa kohtaa aika syvältä. Upotin työskentelyaikani niin tehokkaasti itse animointiin, etten juurikaan ajatellut miten sovittaisin sarjakuvasta tutun taustatyylin animaatioon sopivaksi, eikä se kovin hyvin natsaakaan yhteen.
