Description I wore this costume and it tore me (and itself) apart... Needless to say, I will be remaking her piece by piece...

The wig: First off, it's too small for my head. I bought it off of Cosplay.com (their cosworx store) and it's tiny. Styling it was a piece of cake, but the fact it was small and you could see my hairline while I was wearing it frustrated me to no end. Her snowflake slips I made were ultimately too blue. The wig itself also was too short in its braided form. This is one thing I will definitely be replacing when I make her

The dress: I need new fabrics. The shirt is double layered (to get the right transparency look) and it was a difficult fabric to work with (it kept sliding around and shifting when I was sewing. I will be using a new method for painting on the decals, too. The corset was super difficult. I felt it was more trouble than what it was worth. The sequins/scales tore up the fabrics it rubbed against. The skirt was fine...until the corset destroyed it.

The cape: Again, I need a new fabric. While it was the right length, the decals on it were next to impossible. Storing this was a challenge as everywhere this cape went, a pound of glitter fell off of it, and it looked like I murdered a pixie everywhere I was. I have been toying with some ideas on how to produce this cape in the future.

The shoes: I have to admit I am proud of how they turned out and how well drafting the ice pattern went, but I made them out of the wrong material. I found a plastic that was digging into my skin when I walked... I had permanent marks on my feet from the impalements that didn't go away for several years. I have the materials to make the shoes, and once this con gets done, I plan on slowly redoing her shoes.
