Description
The first part of my 1:12 Andrewsarchus’s mesonychid skeleton: the neck.

I chose Sinonyx for the skeletal framework due to it having a skull superficially similar in design to Andresarchus’s in many ways, and also due to the superficial similarities Sinonyx has with some archeocetes (the distant cousins of Andrewsarchus according to current classification). I’ll likely give my mesonychid skeleton a slightly more robust frame in contrast to Sinonyx, but otherwise there will be little deviation from that design other than scale (Sinonyx was obviously smaller than Andrewsarchus).
