Personality:
Alex is a person who you must earn alot of trust in order for her to be your friend and even then she wouldn't really consider it much because of how she was treated in the past and she must really begin to trust a person before she considers them to be her friend. Alex is very,very shy and hates having long conversations with other people thus making her very quiet and blending into the background. She can get easily annoyed and can get angry very quickly along with being very anxious and has such a low esteem to the point where she can't look in the mirror and even hates it when other people say that she is pretty.

She also suffers from severe depression and is normally very sad or tired most of the time. Her daily mood is also erratic and can switch at the drop of a hat. Despite her many,many flaws,Alex is a very gentle and sweet soul who will have a undying loyalty to the people she loves,she is very affectionate and helpful when needed. To know if Alex likes you is if she will randomly give you a gift such as a small stuffed animal to show her appreciation for you. Alex also has a great sense of humor and is very respectful towards most people.

Alex also becomes very playful and sweet towards people she is close to and loves to help them out and even randomly buying gifts for them. She also becomes very jokey and snarky once you break down her barriers and tries her best to look out for her friends.

Alexandra Mason was born in America.

Alex's childhood and life before moving in with Toshrio was miserable. She is a only child and her parents absolutely hated each other as she grew up and had to hear or witness physical fights between them, along with that, her father had also abused her severely and being severely bullied at school by other people and having no friends really didn't help her mental state. Her mother was also abused by him and became emotionally distant from Alex as a result and provided no comfort for her, especially when she had left the household when Alex was around 9 years old.

She has had friends in the past however, they would mostly leave her in favor of other friends due to finding her to be "too weird",even some teachers didn't like her due to her throwing temper tantrums all the time from being picked on.

It was like this for most of Alex's life until high school and she began to start feeling majorly depressed when she was 14, feeling like no one had loved her and she was worthless among many other depressing thoughts, she began to cut herself with her own claws at that age and would do it almost every other day on her arms and thighs.

Every new school she went to felt the same until high school, she met Takara on the first day of school (the series takes place in junior year) and wanted to avoid her until she gave up and started hanging out with her,she was happy that she finally had a true friend but felt like she didn't deserve her or any friendship in general and started to try to avoid her again. It was until Takara defended her from some bullies was when she began to trust Takara and feel comfortable around her and her friends.

Alex eventually met Labramon and raised Labramon with upmost affection and that had kept her sane all this time. Labramon was able to make Alex a little bit more open and she began to hang out with Takara and the others more. Labramon also provided comfort for Alex whenever her father was being abusive or when she was going through another depressive episode.

At some point in the story, Alex meets Takara's dad, Toshiro. Over time, she begins to feel comfortable around him since he was the dad she wishes she had and eventually tells him what's going on with her home life, causing Toshiro to step in and fight her dad, eventually taking custody of Alex and making her Takara's step-sister.

Trivia:
* She has a soft baby blanket which is worn out but it provided her comfort before Labramon,so she still keeps it around

* She hates to wear shirts or anything that exposes her arms due to the scars .

Labramon is a soft-spoken Digimon with an undying loyalty towards Alex. Labramon devotes so much of herself to protecting Alex that she even sees it as her mission and only purpose in life. She is also very open-minded, friendly and innocent. She also keeps Alex grounded to reality with her utmost kindness and affectionate attitude.

She does know when to put her foot down when things get taken too far and tends to be blunt with her feelings at times. When it comes to protecting Alex, she becomes very gallant and unfaltering, she is also even willing to risk her own life in protecting her.

She also looks up to Raionmon.
