Name Etymology: The Sphinx is is a Egyptian and Greek mythical creature with the head of a human and the body of a lion with the wings of a falcon.

Bio:
A Mythical Beast Digimon that is one of the many God Digimon worshipped in the Desert Area of the Digital World.

It has finally accepted the darkness within itself and as a result, has been blessed with the gift of becoming a powerful Digimon and the gift of it's fake holy rings becoming true holy rings.

It is a Digimon of many secrets and wise knowledge, it also works in conjunction with Anubismon in punishing those who sin with it's trusted staff, Cleopatra. The staff also has the special ability to predict the foe's next move and can let Sphinxmon know which Digimon has a pure heart from the ones that are truly evil.

It's special attacks involves raising it's staff to fire projectiles at the enemy (Thebes Light) and blinding the opponent with a bright light from the headdress on it's head (Great Light of Giza.)

Attacks:
Sphinx Shield: Summons a protective barrier.

Thebes Light: Raises it's staff and fires diamond-like projectiles at the enemy.

Great Light of Giza: Uses it's Headdress to blind the opponent with a bright light.
