Principal activity : Protecting and rule the Changeling nest (in theory).

Lives : In the Changeling nest and after quit the nest, near the frontier between Equestria and the Changeling's Kingdom.
Special abilities : Shapeshift, vision in the dark, strong magician, cristallisation/crystals creation.

Teddy is Queen Chrysalis son and Changeling's Prince. His hybridation his kinda due to the Changeling nature

  Changeling are like wasps and bees : they are inspired by the insects that live in nests.

  In the wasp society, there are 3 types of larvae: neutral, male and female.
  Neutrals are the most important part of the larvae and give birth to Workers whose role is to feed the hive or to continue the construction work of the Queen.
  The role of the males is only to fertilize the females.
  And the female role is the most important: she will become a queen and will have to found a nest, give birth to many wasps, feed the larvae, take care of the   health of the youngs.

  To give birth to a new queen, The Changeling Queen had to be fertilized. Oftenly, it's does by another species because there are not enough breeding males in   nests.

  If the newborn larva is a male, he's kinda not that useful for the nest compared to a female : he just protect. But if he's a breeding male, his role is crucial : he   will help the queen to give birth to gendered larva and rule the nest.
  Female newborn larva are the most prescious : they will assure the premanance of the nest by giving life to many new Changelings.

Backstory :

Teddy was born has a simple male. Ashamed that she failed to had a breeding child, Chrysalis gaved him at a nurse and didn't really cared about him.
He was raised like every others males Changeling, by learning to fight and protect the nest. But he quickly showed an important magic ability and a powerful Leadership instinct.

Learning about that, Chrysalis toked him back to her side and raised him as the future ruler of the nest, waiting the day she'll have a daugther.
Teddy didn't take that well and his mom, despite she's acting a little more like a mom, was still super cold to him. When he grew up, they started to fight more and more.

After her mom failed in Canterlot, Teddy started to think about quiting the nest. During month, he had prepared his departure and one day, disapeared.
Chrysalis sended a few patrol to find him without results. She just gave up, starting to prepare a new invasion plan.

Teddy traveld a lot form the nest to the frontier. He finally arrived to a little village where his presence started to scare every pony. He just decide quit that place, installed himself in a cave near the village.
Two week after his arrival in Equestria Kingdom, he meet Lukida, who came in the village because of his presence. She was with Thorax, a traitor considered Changeling. This one was scared by the Changeling Prince but, surprisly, it wasn't Luki's case.
She was suspiscious about his intentions but didn't really cared that Thorax or he were Changelings.

That maked him curious and he started asking a lot of question. He finally learned from Thorax that there is a way to live better than just stealing love form ponies and suddenly thought about the nest and his subject, always more and slowly dying from starvation.

With Luki's accord, he followed her. When she has time, she help him to find a way to create a pact that will help Changelings to live with ponies without stealing love from them.
He also discovered fruits and other awesome foods from Equestria Kingdom.

For now, he lives with Lukida and Zecora in the Everfree forest. With Thorax help, he started to fraternize with ponies but has just one pony that he call a friend : Luki, that he like to call Lulu.

Random facts :
  - He loves to take bath and have his soft spot : Luki.
  - He's tall but a lot smaller than his mother
  - He prefer to be called Teddy than his original name, Sombra.
   - He's like a big spoiled child : annoying and sassy, who become easly jalous or get angry.
  - His name,Teddy, isn't a random choise : With precise people, he become a real teddy bear.
  - He never knew who was his father, just learn in a book his other half was a shadow pony one

Soooooo... Because Teddy is an important character for Lukida, I've thougth that presenting him would be a nice thing.
