SkekSo, “I can’t take you anywhere.”
I did something a little different with the emperor, I was looking at the design from the show and thought he could have looked a little more regal. I tried to make his caller thing look more like the rayes of the sun and put a crystal suspended above his crown. He is the lord of the crystal after all. I have also not actually seen the Age of Resistance, so it felt weird to draw him exactly like how he was portrayed in it.
The one SkekLyr looks up to (Literally at the moment) is SkekSo the Emperor. The Emperor is everything Lyr wants to be, cold, cunning, completely evil, dose not trip over his own feet at least once a day, and you know, the emperor of all the Skeksis…
SkekLyr has a theory that there is something wrong with himself. He is not the model Skeksis. He is not only clumsy, but he has occasionally found himself caring about things other than himself and the Skeksis empire. He is concerned about the fact the world is dying. He was even sad/disappointed that the Skeksis had to kill all the Gelfling, he had found them amusing. But instead of trying to do anything about the world or the Gelfling he just ignored it all. Shutting himself in the scroll room and pretending everything was fine.
