Ah Rango. Can't wait for that to come out! It's not very often that a reptile is a main protagonist. Nice job on this! The shading and the colors are perfect, and I like the cartoon look of it. ^..^

My first "favorite animals" were cats, but it wasn't until a couple years ago that I realized my affinity for reptiles was way stronger. XD
I absolutely love the language. I love the way it sounds and how it just looks written down. XD I'm trying to learn it on my own, because my high school doesn't offer classes in it. It's coming along slowly, but I've been told that my accent is pretty darn good. I love randomly speaking with a German accnet.

Cool to hear. 8) I think german's pretty hard to learn, though. I mean, all the articles, cases and whatnot, let alone the ridiculous dialects. I'm glad I'm already german so I don't really have to learn that language. 8U I'm not good at learning languages anyhow. I can only speak german and english. I've had Portuguese lessons for a few weeks but had to quit them because of time pressure.

It's not that hard compared to other languages. I mean, English is rooted mainly in German, so although there are differences, they are very similar. German is more difficult with the masculine/femenine words and everything, but English is hard thanks to the fact that every "rule" of the language is broken quite often. XD

God, I HATE learning things on my own. I always shut down when I have to do that. I remember things ten times better when there's someone around telling me how things work. I'm a little dependent for that matter. :/

Yep. And translation can be confusing too, because there are sayings and stuff that just don't sound right in the other language. XD
I like learning on my own with some things--that is, things that I like. If it's something I've got a lot of interest in, I don't want someone to tell me how I should be teaching myself. For me, that's just part of my personal learning process--learning how to learn. XD But regarding things like, say, core subjects in school--math, science, etc.--I need instruction, 'cause my brain just doesn't work that way.

Yeah, learning stuff about things you're interested in is much more fun than learning for school subjects anyway. It usually happens that when I really HAVE to do something I hate doing it. But I guess I'm not the only one there.

It is difficult. I've really had to reach outside my comfort zone and apply myself in school lately; it's hard for my creative mind to grasp more logical concepts. I just have no real sense of precision, so when it comes to math and science--perhaps the most precise things in existance--I tend to get lost easily.

this is what I've accomplished so far. Simple but not boring & blue/white. 8U The lines are pretty wonky but it's just a sketch. An idea.

I like it. It's a good, strong design. I know it's only a sketch but I would suggest making the letters more of a typical, perhaps a somewhat industrial sans-serif font. I think that would fit better. But as far as the color and the overall idea goes, I think it looks great.

Thanks for the crit! It won't help much anymore, though. :U My mom told me they decided to stick with the old design. But she also told me that they COULD change their mind if I made a better one. I don't believe that, though. Remains to be seen if I keep working on it...
