Description The mouth removal bit in "Magic Duel" Reminded me of this scene from The Matrix. Twilight is in here instead of Pinkie because I feel it makes way too much sense in this context.

Yes, I know someone did something very similar to this. I assure you that it's simply a coincidence.

Ye gods. It's a great comic. And a tribute to the matrix. Nice work

Fun fact: in the United States, you do NOT have "the right to a phone call". You have the right to contact your attorney (and no one else) by any method approved by the police who arrested you

It's actually not even a right. It's a privilege. You can call anyone you wish, but the police have just as much right to deny you that call as you do asking for the phone call.

Just making sure we're on the same page:

"It's actually not even a right."
They MUST let you talk to your attorney if you ask, that's a Miranda Right, but a phone isn't necessarily going to be involved

"It's a privilege. You can call anyone you wish..."
Right, that part's the privilege

Well, the attorney part is a right, indeed. The call anyone part is the privilege. They can't deny your rights to an attorney, but anyone else, they can deny if they choose to.

Yep, saw that right before I was about to upload this. I think they're different enough to have their own merits regardless of it being the same idea.

Plus I worked on this for a decent amount of time, and I wasn't about to let it go to waste over something as silly as someone having the same idea as me.

For what it's worth, I think your version is a bit closer knit to the reference.

Pretty much. Mine is really more of a recreation but with ponies, while the other one focuses on being a silly comic(ala equating cupcakes to the finger).

Neither one is really superior to the other, just different.
