Description
Window sills are rather niceTo sit on in the spring
And stare at fields of melting ice
And flowers gathering
Through the branches gusts of wind
Are trying to get by
And we enjoy the nosie they make
The window pane and I.
As birds begin to come again
From where the snow won't fall
They catch the falling drops of rain
And sing their pretty call
I like to sit here in the night
And watch the winking stars
Pour o'er the melting world a light
From a place so far
You should try this window sill
A place to sit and rest
And watch the world growing still
Nature at its best.
